Deluxe 4 Door Convertible
•The casting date is 4-15-68, Casting #2468330-1, under which is D N R.L.
•The Intake is cast with 2780543
•I cannot see any stampings under the starter boss, but will look closer when I lift the engine
•The VIN pad is stamped with both a "B" and a "T" with different stamp sets and orientation
•The front AFB is stamped "A9 4619S" and the Black tab is stamped "4619S" "0069" and "84"
•The rear AFB is stamped "L8 4621 S" and the Bright Blue tab is stamped "4621S" "3098" and "89"
•All Carb Plugs are still in place
I am NOT a Mopar Guy, but I have been told this is a .020 over Warranty Engine...
It was removed from a Totalled '69 Hemi Roadrunner, easily a buildable car today, but not so much in the mid 80's...
The engine was taken to a noted local Machinist and Engine Builder, Harold Hoffman, and deemed to be in such perfect shape, he went to the local Chrysler Dealer, got a Factory Gasket set, and reassembled...
It was then parked in the garage, and not moved for over 30yrs...
